Front Door Team Manager (Independence & Advice Hub)

We are seeking a Team Manager for our Independence and Advice Hub also referred to as the Front Door. As the first point of contact for adult social care, the hub is designed to contribute to improving the outcomes for vulnerable adults across the region by using strengths-based approaches to maximise individuals independence, fostering partnership working with other organisations and managing demand in an effective and timely manner.

The manager leads a team of senior social workers, facilitators, a digital technician, a technical assistant, and occupational therapy assistants. The team also works closely with Safeguarding Adults and maintains strong connections with teams such as; Futures+, Carers Support Service, and Local Area Coordination services which supports a multidisciplinary approach.

This role involves collaborating with professionals from various disciplines who may be involved in supporting vulnerable adults, their families, carers and communities. Collaboration with both internal and external partners will be necessary to identify and deliver a range of services that appropriately meet individual's needs.

The role is responsible for managing performance, ensuring quality, allocating resources, addressing customer demand, and overseeing budgets in collaboration with senior management. Experience supervising social workers or adult social care staff in either single-discipline or multi-disciplinary teams is essential.

This team will continue to advance its multi-disciplinary approach by incorporating digital technologies and fostering robust partnerships with both community and voluntary sectors, in alignment with the overarching prevention agenda.
