Overview

Top Tier Investment Bank requires a server side C# developer with an interest in financial markets to join the Front Office Fixed Income Team, positively contributing to Pricing & Risk, End of Day PnL, Market Data and Analytics, RFQ's, Market Connectivity. Vendor products such as Gloss & Front Arena. Exciting front office trading tools opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • This role is a key delivery team member for the Front Office / Fixed Income Business in EMEA.
  • Working with the Product Owner and the development team, deliver sound, well designed and technically advanced solutions to business users.
  • Design and development of new software, integration with vendor systems, participate in on-call rota support and follow and expand the established SDLC processes.
  • Participate in projects such as ION Anvil and leverage Neptune and other Front office systems.
  • Deliver IT Strategy, assist in revenue generating and regulatory initiatives and ensure IT systems provide competitive advantage.
  • Endorse and promote Diversity and Inclusion opportunities across the board.
  • Ensure effective and efficient running of the Fixed Income systems, integrated into the wider bank's environment to meet the needs of trading desks.
  • Deliver fast-paced agile high quality software changes, help run Scrums, Sprints and create and deploy Releases.
  • Provide advice on .NET, .NET Core, C#, and other development tools and languages, their usage and upgrades, and leverage them to maximise business benefit.
  • Perform frequently .NET/C# tasks such as delivering new projects, improving and optimising the current setup, providing future-proofing guidance on all relevant data points.
  • Promote enterprise data management and governance design approach delivered through Agile SDLC.
  • Deliver regulatory and internal reporting in a resilient and timely manner incorporating the latest industry and technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with traders and Desk heads to ensure strategic objectives are met through technology changes.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Core Development Languages covering .Net Core, C#
  • Experience in financial industry is preferred
  • Strong numerical and financial skills with the ability to interpret financial information and design and use financial models
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle communications at all levels from across the whole business, including Front Office.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing environments and CI/CD
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar
