Job Description:
Our Financial Services Climate and Sustainability practice are looking for an experienced Consultant with Asset Management and/or Asset Owner expertise to join the team.
Over the last five years, we have supported over £200bn of investment in the transition to net zero, creating decarbonisation pathways covering 250 million tonnes of emissions. We pride ourselves on delivering solutions that are deeply informed by our understanding of the asset management industry, helping clients meet their sustainability commitments and maintaining their business objectives.
Our team comprises industry specialists in climate and sustainability, with backgrounds in leading asset managers, financial institutions, regulators, and think tanks. Our clients trust Baringa to solve complex challenges with expertise and a pragmatic, collaborative approach.
We partner with major asset managers globally, assisting them in navigating the low-carbon transition and integrating sustainability into their strategies, operations, and investments. For example, we developed a methodology for assessing whether investments for a $1tr Global Transition Fund align with net zero pathways.
Our work is market-leading, shaping industry responses to climate change and global transition. We authored the Transition Plan Taskforce (TPT) guidance for asset managers and asset owners, recognized as the gold standard for transition planning. We also develop tailored strategies to help clients achieve their transition goals practically.
