FS Climate & Sustainability, Insurance - Consultant & Senior Consultant

About Baringa:
We set out to build the world's most trusted consulting firm - creating lasting impact for clients and pioneering a positive, people-first way of working. We work with everyone from FTSE 100 names to bright new start-ups, in every sector.

You'll find us collaborating shoulder-to-shoulder with our clients, from the big picture right down to the detail: helping them define their strategy, deliver complex change, spot the right commercial opportunities, manage risk, or bring their purpose and sustainability goals to life. Our clients love how we get to know what makes their organisations tick - slotting seamlessly into their teams and being proudly geeky about solving their challenges.

We have hubs in Europe, the US, Asia and Australia, and we work all around the world - from a wind farm in Wyoming to a boardroom in Berlin. Find us wherever there's a challenge to be tackled and an impact to be made.

Our Financial Services Climate and Sustainability practice are looking for an experienced Consultant/Senior Consultant with insurance expertise to join the team

Our team of specialists in climate and sustainability have worked at some of the world's leading financial institutions, insurers, regulators, and think tanks. Our clients trust Baringa to work with them to solve their most complex challenges, valuing our expertise and the collaborative and practical way we deliver solutions.

We combine deep industry knowledge with the ability to draw on expertise from across Baringa's diverse sectors and geographies, enabling us to support our clients. This is particularly true in working with underwriting teams to understand the technology that will allow the transition to a low-carbon economy.

Over the last five years, we have supported over £200bn of investment in the transition to a sustainable economy, creating decarbonisation pathways that cover 250 million tonnes of emissions. We have also helped some of the world's largest insurers write their transition plans, navigating the complexities of decarbonisation while addressing their regulatory and commercial priorities.

As insurers face increasing regulatory and commercial pressures to address sustainability, we see a rapidly growing demand for our expertise. Whether developing and delivering credible transition plans, embedding sustainability into underwriting and claims processes, or navigating sustainability-related regulation, we help insurers turn these challenges into opportunities, embedding sustainability into their businesses and positioning them to support the transition to a low-carbon economy.
