Fuel Supply Chain Officer

This role involves managing and supporting the fuel supply chain operations for an airline, including developing monitoring plans, negotiating contracts, improving operational efficiencies, ensuring safety and compliance, and supporting training and infrastructure resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in developing and maintaining monitoring plans for ETS Schemes, CORSIA, and RFEUA.
2. Support in managing the jet fuel supply chain across all bases, ensuring security of supply and cost efficiency.
3. Negotiate supply contracts with oil companies and traders, supporting tender processes and financial modeling.
4. Collaborate with airport and fuel suppliers to improve operational efficiencies and analyze fuelling delays.
5. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards through audits and training.
6. Support tender deployment activities and collaborate with suppliers to develop resilient infrastructure.
7. Support training and development for staff and ensure adherence to procedures and audit guidelines.

Requirements:

• Moderate knowledge of Fuel Supply Chain and HSSE standards.
• Understanding of contracts and KPIs.
• Engineering background, preferably with Oil & Gas experience (3+ years).
• Aviation operations experience is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel 10-20% as required.
