We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Full Stack Developer / Software Developer with strong PHP and Ruby experience to help design, develop and deliver world-class digital systems.
As a Full Stack Developer / Software Developer you will work on enhancing web-based applications that support sporting facilities and improve digital engagement for users around the world.
The Full Stack Developer / Software Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions using modern technologies and frameworks.
DUTIES
Develop and maintain web applications using PHP (CodeIgniter) and Ruby (Ruby on Rails)
Enhance and support internal tools and consumer-facing platforms
Collaborate closely with internal teams and partners to deliver innovative, reliable solutions
Apply best practices for development, testing, and deployment
Optimise performance across applications to improve scalability and user experience
Implement AI tools and contribute to integrating AI-driven features across systems
Contribute to continuous improvement in development processes and code quality
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience of working in full stack or software development roles
Strong skills in PHP (CodeIgniter) and Ruby (Ruby on Rails)
Solid understanding of the Hotwire suite (Turbo, Turbo Native, Stimulus JS)
Experience with AWS, Docker or similar technologies
Clean, maintainable coding style with good documentation habits
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Interest in sport and emerging AI applications
