Hello potential future Ki team member. Ki is looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our growing team. We are a global insurance tech company focused on transforming how the specialty insurance market works, with a cloud-based platform built on modern technologies.

Ki is the biggest global insurance tech company you’ve never heard of, known for its digital approach to insuring satellites, wind farms and events. We collaborate with partners like Google and UCL to enable brokers to place risk quickly and easily. Our culture emphasises building relationships and reducing repetitive form-filling, so that insurance employees can focus on the clever things.

What’s the role

We’re looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to join our team. You’ll contribute to our core platform that has driven significant revenue and is positioned to grow exponentially. Our squads combine software and data engineering, platform operations, algorithm research and data science. We focus on delivering high-impact features and continuously improving through open, honest discussions.

You’ll build robust and scalable software for business-critical, web-based applications as well as visually appealing, efficient, and reusable web and mobile interfaces. You’ll apply your mid-senior level experience across a modern web stack.

Technologies we use: Kotlin for services, Python for data, React and TypeScript for UIs, Postgres as our database, and cloud infrastructure in GCP defined with Terraform.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a mid-senior level engineer across a modern web stack
  • Proficiency with Kotlin for services and Python for data
  • Strong front-end skills in React and TypeScript
  • Experience with Postgres and cloud-based infrastructure (GCP, Terraform)
