Full Stack Developer

Location: Devon (hybrid role, 2 days per week in the office)

Salary: up to £62,000

We’re looking for a Senior Developer who’s comfortable working across the full stack — someone who enjoys shaping ideas into elegant, scalable software and isn’t afraid to get hands-on.

You’ll join a small, agile team where your voice genuinely matters. From early planning and solution design to coding, testing and deployment, you’ll play a key role in building and supporting products that are secure, performant, and built to last.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain complex PHP web applications and APIs
  • Build responsive, accessible, user-friendly front-end interfaces (React preferred)
  • Help shape architecture and technology choices (we’re big on microservices)
  • Mentor junior developers, lead by example, and encourage best practices
  • Collaborate across disciplines to deliver high-quality, scalable SaaS solutions

Experience required

  • Senior-level experience in web application and API development
  • Expert knowledge of PHP (Symfony preferred)
  • Solid understanding of SQL/MySQL
  • Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms
  • Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices
  • A good eye for design, usability, and performance
