Role Purpose

We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer to be a key contributor in building and scaling our cutting-edge, headless Shopify e-commerce storefront. You will work with the Engineering and Product teams to drive the performance, stability, and scalability of our core customer experience, focusing specifically on our unique subscription-based model and integrating essential customer experience tools like our loyalty system. This is an opportunity to shape our composable architecture and deliver the Absolute Collagen digital roadmap across web and mobile properties.

Role Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy high-quality, scalable software solutions for both client-side (React/Astro) and server-side applications.
• Build and secure our APIs (both internal and public-facing) to handle data and power all our applications and services.
• Write clean, high-quality code and ensure our platform is fast, stable, and bug-free through careful testing and debugging.
• Participate in all phases of the Agile development lifecycle from concept to deployment as a core member of a cross-functional squad.
• Implement technical strategy and proof of concepts, ensuring the platform's stability, security, and compliance (e.g., Privacy and Accessibility).

Technical Requirements

• Experience working as a Full Stack Developer on D2C e-commerce platforms and APIs.
• Proficiency in our core stack: Astro, React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Proven experience building and maintaining a Headless E-commerce solution, ideally with Shopify, and integrating with Subscriptions platforms (e.g., Recharge).
• Experience translating design mockups (e.g., Figma) into high-performance, pixel-perfect user interfaces, focusing on accessibility and responsiveness.
• Hands-on experience consuming GraphQL APIs.
• Familiarity with modern CMS platforms (e.g., Sanity or DatoCMS) and API integration.
• Experience with DevOps practices, including Git, Docker, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of serverless architecture (e.g., Netlify Functions, Cloudflare Workers).
• Familiarity with customer data and tracking tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Statsig.
