Overview

Gaming Realms plc is the developer and licensor of mobile focused, real money games. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Games Mathematician to join our team. The role involves overseeing the development and production of mobile-focused real money and social gaming content, working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality games that meet market demands and client expectations. This role is hybrid with office attendance required on at least a monthly basis.

Responsibilities

• Game mathematics design: Create maths models to support new game and game mechanic ideas
• Innovation and Creativity: Develop maths models for iGaming content such as slots, instant wins, Slingo, table games, scratch cards and bingo
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to bring innovative ideas through maths in a game
• Game mechanics: Lead end-to-end management of creating math models to support game mechanics and engage players
• Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous QA processes to deliver polished, bug-free gaming experiences; conduct thorough testing and provide feedback to the development team
• Client Collaboration: Act as primary point of contact for clients, translate requirements into actionable tasks for the development team, and maintain regular communication
• Risk Management: Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure on-time, in-budget delivery

About you

• 3/4+ years of experience in product development in the gaming industry and/or casino gaming
• Good understanding of the maths behind iGaming games (slots, instant, scratch cards, bingo or table games)
• In-depth knowledge of the gaming industry, including competitive intelligence, game mechanics and industry trends
• Strong knowledge in maths design, and related areas such as art, sound, and project management
• Experience in a key creative discipline (art, maths, engineering)
• Experience working with SCRUM and agile methodologies in cross-functional teams
• Experience coordinating multiple remote teams on a single product from ideation to launch
• Self-starter with excellent organization and time-management
• Excellent written and verbal communication; wireframing, documentation and presentation skills
• Proficient in JIRA or other project tools

Knowledge, Skill and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Game Producer in the mobile gaming industry
• Strong project management skills with a track record of successful game deliveries
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• In-depth knowledge of mobile gaming trends, mechanics, and technologies
• Familiarity with both real money and social gaming content
