GenAI/NLP Data Scientist – My client is a Global Energy Trading firm and they are looking to appoint a Data Scientist to drive innovation in Generative AI and NLP, transforming advanced research into real-world business impact.

Role

Joining an internal R&D team, you’ll apply cutting-edge GenAI and NLP solutions to complex challenges such as conversational AI, intelligent search, and AI-assisted operations. This is a highly technical, research-focused role at the forefront of LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and emerging AI architectures.

Skills & Experience Required

• Expertise in LLMs, Transformers, Prompt Engineering, RAG, agentic architectures, and evaluation methods.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Proven ability to deliver advanced AI systems in R&D or production environments.

Preferred / Bonus Skills

• Experience fine-tuning or training foundation models.
• Prior R&D experience in GenAI/NLP.
• Open-source contributions or research publications.
• Experience mentoring or collaborating in research teams.
