General Practitioner (4-Day Week) – London or Winnersh

Be part of a fast-scaling health tech company that’s redefining how patients access care.

We are looking for an ambitious General Practitioner to join our growing team and help shape the future of personalised medicine.

This is more than a clinical role, it’s an opportunity to combine hands-on patient care with innovation, education, and leadership in one of the UK’s most exciting areas of healthcare.

Why this role?

  • Innovation – Work at the cutting edge of health tech, building new models of care.
  • Impact – Support patients with complex conditions who are often underserved by traditional pathways.
  • Growth – Develop expertise in an emerging field while contributing to research, education, and service design.
  • Balance – A four-day working week based at our London or Winnersh site, with opportunities for hybrid and digital-first care.

About The Role

You will lead new patient assessment clinics, guiding individuals with complex needs as they explore cannabis-based treatment options. Working closely with pharmacists, nurses, and consultants, you’ll deliver safe, compassionate, and forward-thinking care.

Beyond clinic work, you will contribute to developing digital-first patient pathways, help educate patients and colleagues, and actively shape the future of alternative therapies within a fast-moving health tech environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct video-based new patient assessments to evaluate medical suitability for treatment.
  • Take thorough medical histories and apply strong clinical judgment to guide care decisions.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant patient records in line with governance protocols.
  • Provide patients with clear, supportive guidance on next steps in their treatment journey.
  • Collaborate across a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe prescribing pathways.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative patient pathways and clinical processes.

Skills, experience and qualifications:

  • GMC-registered GP with licence to practise in the UK.
  • At least 5 years’ post-registration experience.
  • Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills.
  • Comfortable working autonomously in digital-first and hybrid environments.
  • A genuine interest in innovation, health tech, and emerging therapies.
  • Excellent communication skills and digital fluency.

Desirable:

  • Experience in telemedicine or digital health.
  • Background in pain management, neurology, mental health, or complex chronic conditions.

Scope for Progression:

This is a rare chance to grow your career in a scaling health tech company at the forefront of personalised medicine. As we expand, ambitious clinicians will have opportunities to:

  • Step into clinical leadership roles, shaping strategy and mentoring others.
  • Influence policy and best practice in a rapidly evolving area of healthcare.
  • Lead on education, training, and external engagement as a thought leader in emerging therapies.
  • Drive research, service design, and innovation projects that set new standards for digital-first care.
  • Progress into senior strategic positions, with scope to shape both patient outcomes and the future of the organisation.

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary
  • 25 days holiday (rising to 27 after one year, rising to 30 after 2 years) + bank holidays
  • 5% matched pension
  • Cycle-to-work scheme
  • Opportunities for development and growth
  • A dynamic and supportive work environment
