Position Overview

Role Details

The role is available on both trainee and qualified basis. If you lack experience, we offer a training program to develop your skills, knowledge, and experience, which could lead to professional progression within the service.

Responsibilities

• Support vulnerable residents with issues related to benefits, debts, housing, and employment.
• Take referrals from frontline workers across districts.
• Build relationships with local frontline teams to coordinate support efforts.
• Provide advice and casework support in office and community settings such as foodbanks, libraries, and hubs.
• Contribute to an innovative pilot project delivered jointly by Stroud and Cotswold Districts Citizens Advice, including collecting data for reporting to the funder.
