About the Opportunity
Our client is a leading UK remediation and earthworks contractor delivering technically complex projects that transform brownfield land into sustainable developments.
This is a genuine career-building role for a motivated Geo-Environmental Engineer who enjoys variety, problem-solving and being part of a high-performing, down-to-earth team. You’ll work on major regeneration and infrastructure schemes gaining experience across every stage of investigation, assessment and remediation.
Typical Projects Include
- Brownfield regeneration and land redevelopment
- Infrastructure enabling and ground improvement schemes
- In-situ and ex-situ soil and groundwater remediation
- Waste classification, treatment and reuse to meet sustainability targets
- Environmental monitoring and verification reporting

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver site investigations (soil, groundwater and gas)
- Prepare factual and interpretative reports, risk assessments and remediation strategies
- Supervise site works ensuring the highest health, safety and environmental standards
- Conduct sampling, logging and in-situ testing
- Liaise with clients, consultants and project managers to deliver accurate technical input
- Support development and verification of remediation and enabling works
About You
- Degree in Geology, Environmental Science or Geotechnical / Civil Engineering
- Experience in contaminated land remediation or geo-environmental investigation (GradSenior considered)
- Strong technical writing and problem-solving ability
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to work on varied project sites when required
- Proactive and detail-focused with a passion for sustainability and quality
