About the Opportunity

Our client is a leading UK remediation and earthworks contractor delivering technically complex projects that transform brownfield land into sustainable developments.

This is a genuine career-building role for a motivated Geo-Environmental Engineer who enjoys variety, problem-solving and being part of a high-performing, down-to-earth team. You’ll work on major regeneration and infrastructure schemes gaining experience across every stage of investigation, assessment and remediation.

Typical Projects Include

  • Brownfield regeneration and land redevelopment
  • Infrastructure enabling and ground improvement schemes
  • In-situ and ex-situ soil and groundwater remediation
  • Waste classification, treatment and reuse to meet sustainability targets
  • Environmental monitoring and verification reporting

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver site investigations (soil, groundwater and gas)
  • Prepare factual and interpretative reports, risk assessments and remediation strategies
  • Supervise site works ensuring the highest health, safety and environmental standards
  • Conduct sampling, logging and in-situ testing
  • Liaise with clients, consultants and project managers to deliver accurate technical input
  • Support development and verification of remediation and enabling works

About You

  • Degree in Geology, Environmental Science or Geotechnical / Civil Engineering
  • Experience in contaminated land remediation or geo-environmental investigation (GradSenior considered)
  • Strong technical writing and problem-solving ability
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to work on varied project sites when required
  • Proactive and detail-focused with a passion for sustainability and quality
