We are looking for an experienced GHG or Environmental Data Auditor / Lead Auditor (sub-contractor position).

Job Purpose:

Lucideon is a leading global expert in GHG verification and sustainability assurance, providing impartial expertise in the delivery of our services to comply with an ever-growing range of mandatory and voluntary standards.

We are currently seeking GHG and Environmental Data Auditors and Lead Auditors (sub-contractor position) to join our team, renowned for their expertise and for well-planned and well-executed audits across a wide range of industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site visits to manufacturing sites (e.g., ceramics) and other organizations (e.g., hospitals, universities).
• Prepare reports and audit statements.
• Interview site personnel.
• Deliver services including:
• GHG verification for UK Emissions Trading Scheme.
• GHG verification for EU Emissions Trading Scheme.
• GHG verification for Activity Level Data Reports.
• Verification of voluntary environmental data reports (e.g., CDP, GRESB, Environmental Data reporting, OFGEM, etc.).

Qualifications:

A degree in a sustainability/carbon discipline or a scientific/numerical discipline is desirable. Previous industry experience in an energy or environmental role will also be considered.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

• Previous verification/certification experience, preferably as a Lead Verifier.
• Industry experience in energy or environmental roles.
• Awareness of environmental organizations and regulations.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Flexibility for travel (mainly UK, possibly overseas). A driving license is essential.
• Good communication skills.
• Solid knowledge of GHG concepts (sampling, uncertainty, materiality) and calculations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with other software (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Knowledge of ESG reporting regulations (e.g., TCFD, SASB, SEC) and schemes like GRI is desirable.
