We are currently seeking an interim Global Assistant Procurement Manager to work with our global FMCG client Unilever, renowned for brands such as Dove, Sure, Persil, and Simple. Join their fast-paced FMCG environment.


This position is based in Port Sunlight Village, Wirral, easily accessible by train and car. It is a full-time temporary role from August 2025 to October 2026, requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The compensation is competitive, up to 40,000 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.


The role offers a mix of remote and onsite work, subject to business needs.

The Beauty & Wellbeing business aims to double top-line growth and increase margins through purposeful brand investment and science-backed innovation. To achieve this, seamless integration of strategy and execution, along with simplification across the value chain, is essential. This approach will help reduce non-value-adding costs, improve resilience, agility, and speed to market, while supporting sustainability goals.

As the Assistant Global Procurement Manager - Beauty & Wellbeing, you will represent Procurement to partnering functions, ensuring procurement is involved in strategic business discussions and translating business needs into procurement strategies. Your role will involve balancing both perspectives to create additional value.

Role Responsibilities:

  1. Execution Focus: Understand the BG strategy and help deliver GM targets from procurement. Lead the implementation of strategic projects to enhance BG performance.
  2. Value Creation: Drive value across the end-to-end value chain, identifying overlaps and coordinating cross-functional teams.
  3. Strategic Influencing: Use market intelligence to influence procurement considerations within the BG and shape procurement strategies aligned with BG goals.
  4. Leadership: Connect partners and disruptors with BG leadership to promote innovation and cost-saving initiatives.
  5. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with peers, sharing best practices and ensuring clarity and alignment with cross-functional partners.
