Overview

Finastra is currently seeking a Global Mobility Lead to join our team. Reporting to Global Head of Benefits & Mobility, this position is responsible for administering and evolving our Global Mobility policies and managing all Mobility Solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assisting organization with the planning and execution of employees’ relocations. Including managing budgets, coordinating with vendors, and providing support and guidance to employees and their families throughout the process.
  • Collaborate with rest of the Global Mobility team to keep the programme up-to-date by collaborating on strategy and implementation
  • Manage the relationships with suppliers for immigration, relocation, international medical and tax service (including managing RFPs when needed)
  • Prepare and review cost estimates for all Global Mobility policy types
  • Ensures compliance with legal, fiscal and regulatory changes in global mobility activities
  • Assists employees with queries on relocation, immigration, tax, shipping, etc whilst ensuring compliance and consistency
  • Updating and reviewing standard Global Mobility reporting tools
  • Solves complex problems; exercises judgement based on the analysis of multiple sources of information (e.g. oversight of data aggregation, leadership of client implementation processes, etc.)

Key requirements and capabilities

  • University degree in math, finance, business or comparable subject matter and relevant professional designation
  • Experience in managing global mobility cases in a complex and matrix environment
  • Very strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills in order to tailor messages to different audiences and situations.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, including the ability to build close working relationships with a large number of individuals across Finastra and among external advisors
  • 5+ years’ experience in the relevant function (i.e. global mobility, relocation, immigration) in a fast paced, corporate environment
  • Fluency in English – oral and written
  • Project management: ability to coordinate processes and projects to a deadline
  • Displays strong commitment to high-quality work and is able to operate independently with minimal guidance
  • Takes ownership of end-to-end processes, products, or programs with impact across business and operational teams
  • Demonstrates strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues, align on key deliverables, and provide expert guidance to senior stakeholders
