Global Procurement Manager – Direct Spend | Blue Chip FMCG | £55,000 - £65,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance + 10% Bonus | West London (Hybrid)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a leading £multi-billion FMCG business as a Procurement Manager, taking strategic ownership of a high-profile area within their global direct materials spend. This position is ideal for candidates with experience managing direct categories who are looking to work in a global, fast-paced environment with significant scope and visibility.

Joining a dynamic procurement function known for its strategic influence and commercial impact, you’ll be instrumental in shaping and delivering sourcing strategies across a multi-million-pound category, working cross-functionally with regional procurement leads, suppliers, R&D, and sustainability teams.

While packaging experience is a plus, the business is open to strong direct procurement professionals from other categories who bring strategic thinking, supplier management expertise, and a desire to make an impact in a progressive and collaborative environment.

This is a career-defining opportunity within a globally recognised FMCG leader offering long-term development, global category exposure, and a meaningful role in delivering innovation and sustainability goals.

Up to £65,000 base salary + £5,000 car allowance + 10% bonus. Based in West London and offering flexible hybrid working (3x office days per week).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for a key direct materials category
• Deliver cost optimisation, risk mitigation, and supplier innovation
• Partner with R&D, sustainability, and regional procurement teams to drive alignment and progress key initiatives
• Lead supplier negotiations, contract management, and performance tracking
• Monitor markets, identify trends, and proactively manage category planning and coverage
• Support long-term budgeting and forecasting activity

Experience Sought:

• 4+ years of procurement experience, ideally within direct materials (e.g. packaging, ingredients, raw materials for example etc.)
• FMCG or manufacturing background preferred
• Strategic sourcing and category management capability
• Excellent supplier relationship and negotiation skills
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and cost modelling
