WHAT'S THE MISSION FOR THIS ROLE?
The role of the Social Media Manager is to develop and execute the ellesse global social media strategy across all key platforms, serving as the digital voice of the brand. This role requires a savvy storyteller, a culturally attuned marketer, and a community-builder with a deep understanding of social trends and platform best practices.
WHAT DOES THIS ROLE DO?
- Social Media Strategy Development: Develop and implement a social media strategy that aligns with brand goals, target audience, and industry trends.
- Social Media Strategy Development: Stay up-to-date with social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms, integrating them into the strategy as needed.
- Social Media Strategy Development: Ensure consistency across all partners platforms in posting frequency, tone, and visual style across all channels to maintain a cohesive brand image.
- Social Media Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyse metrics (e.g., engagement rate, reach, follower growth, conversions) to evaluate the success of campaigns.
- Social Media Analytics and Reporting: Prepare regular reports on social media performance, providing insights into what content resonates best with the audience.
- Social Media Analytics and Reporting: Use data to refine strategies, optimize content, and report on ROI to stakeholders.
- Social Media Analytics and Reporting: Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies in real-time to maximize engagement and reach.
- Brand Voice and Storytelling: Maintain a consistent brand voice across all platforms, using language, tone, and storytelling that reflects the brand's personality.
- Brand Voice and Storytelling: Develop content that highlights the brand's values, heritage, and lifestyle, building an emotional connection with the audience.
- Paid Social Campaign Management: Work with the digital marketing team to create and optimize paid social media campaigns for broader reach and targeted engagement.
- Paid Social Campaign Management: Track performance of paid campaigns and adjust targeting, content, and budget as needed to maximize ROI.
- Paid Social Campaign Management: Report on the effectiveness of paid strategies and provide recommendations for future paid social efforts.
- Content Creation and Curation: Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to produce on-brand content, including campaign visuals, product promotions, and lifestyle shots.
- Content Creation and Curation: Curate user-generated content (UGC) and work with photographers or influencers to showcase products authentically.
- Influencer and Ambassador Collaboration: Identify and build relationships with influencers, athletes, and brand ambassadors who align with the brand's image and target audience.
- Influencer and Ambassador Collaboration: Manage influencer partnerships, including negotiation, content collaboration, and campaign tracking.
- Influencer and Ambassador Collaboration: Oversee content created by influencers, ensuring it meets brand standards.
- Influencer and Ambassador Collaboration: Monitor brand sentiment and take proactive steps to nurture a positive and supportive community environment.
WHAT DO I BRING TO THE ROLE?
- Previous experience in social media and/or community management, ideally within fashion, lifestyle, or sportswear industries.
- Proven track record of managing global social platforms and driving growth and engagement.
- Strong understanding of digital content formats, trends, and social analytics.
- Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills with attention to brand tone and voice.
- Experience with tools like Sprinklr, Iconosquare Social, Later, Dash Hudson, or similar.
- Passion for sports, style, culture, and building authentic brand communities.
- Experience working with international teams or markets is a bonus.
