Global Tax Compliance & Reporting Manager
This is your chance to shape a global tax function.
We’re looking for someone who thrives on ownership, craves responsibility, and wants to be the go-to person for all things tax compliance and reporting at a high-growth, international business. This isn’t a passive reporting role – it’s a launchpad.
Right now, global tax compliance is outsourced to the Big 4. Your job? Manage that relationship like a pro. Keep things running smoothly, flag what matters, and let the Head of Tax focus on transformation. He’s there when you need him – but you won’t need him often. You’ll be trusted to take initiative, make decisions, and just get things done.
Why this role, why now?
This business is growing. Fast.
Following a major acquisition and significant international expansion, they’re evolving internal functions to match the scale of their ambitions. You’ll be joining at a pivotal moment – laying the groundwork for a broader in-house tax team in the years ahead.
This role isn’t static. You’ll build out global processes, shape the relationship with advisers, and become a key part of the team’s future structure. If you want progression, this is it. There’s a path here to Group Tax Senior Manager.
What you’ll be doing:
Own the global direct tax compliance process across 15+ countries, working closely with the Big 4.
- Lead on tax reporting, group provisions, and disclosures – keeping us accurate, audit-ready, and on time.
- Review local CIT returns and liaise with finance teams to get the data right, first time.
- Build and manage a global tax calendar to keep payments and filings on track.
- Advance tax governance and identify opportunities to improve processes (including automation, e-invoicing, and reporting tech).
- Support on audits, transfer pricing documentation, and the implementation of new tax regulations like OECD Pillar 2.
What makes you a great fit:
You’ve already worked in-house in a tax role – or had a meaningful secondment into industry.
- You’re pragmatic, proactive, and don’t wait for permission to solve problems.
- You like being straight to the point. No fluff, just clarity.
- You’re ambitious. You see yourself growing into a leadership role and want the chance to prove it.
- You’re comfortable managing external advisers and internal stakeholders alike.
Life here:
This is a place where merit matters more than tenure. Where progression isn’t a waiting game. They work hard, but enjoy it – collaborative, supportive, and always open to new ideas. They share success through a generous profit-share scheme and invest heavily in personal development, whether that’s qualifications, training, or mentorship.
Based in London with a hybrid setup (2 days in-office), giving you the flexibility to work how you work best, with the collaboration that drives impact.
