Lincolnshire Housing Partnership (LHP) has a unique opportunity for a highly experienced Governance Improvement Lead to advance governance and regulation capabilities across the organization.
The Governance Improvement Lead will strengthen corporate oversight, embed best practice frameworks, and drive continuous improvement in governance and regulation structures, systems, and processes.

What could a typical week look like as the Governance Improvement Lead?

A Typical Week Could Include:
- Coordinate projects related to NED talent management and board effectiveness reviews
- Draft insight-driven reports for the leadership team and board members
- Conduct horizon scanning for legislative, regulatory updates, and sector developments
- Coordinate legal and regulatory compliance activities with service leads
- Facilitate cross-team process review workshops to identify inefficiencies
- Collaborate with IT and digital teams to design or refine automated workflows and test AI-enabled tools
- Produce training materials, templates, and guidance to ensure colleagues understand and implement changes
- Finalize communication materials for upcoming policy or regulatory changes
- Coordinate policy and procedure reviews with service leads
- Allocate time for innovation and feedback
- Meet with the change function to ensure governance and regulation alignment with project frameworks
- Engage with the team in weekly catch-ups and connect with customers in the communities
- Weekly wrap-up and planning for the following week
Skills, Abilities, Knowledge, and Experience Needed:
- Experience in governance, regulatory compliance, or assurance within highly regulated environments, ensuring statutory and sector standards are met
- Deep understanding of governance frameworks, policy lifecycle management, and regulatory assurance processes with a focus on continuous improvement
- Proven track record in designing and delivering process enhancements, including implementation
