Overview

This is a fantastic career opportunity; you can earn good money, and in the next 5 or so years become a Director and get equity in the company.

What you’ll do

• Engage with retail business owners who are looking to sell their business; develop relationships, meet them and talk about the services.
• A more experienced colleague will handle the quotes and finalise the deal; you’ll open the doors for this to happen.
• Visits will be across the country and planned so you see several businesses in the same area on the same day; hours will vary and you may need to set off at 6am on some days, with the option to finish early or to make more sales calls if you want to increase earnings.

What you’ll get

• Basic salary of between £24,420-£35,000 (depending on experience), plus access to a car.
• Uncapped commission; earnings depend on your effort. A £10-12k annual bonus should be initially achievable, with potential for more over time.

Training and development

A team of 3 experienced people are currently doing this, and they are looking to take on one, maybe two, graduates to train up and develop. Initially you’ll be going on visits with them, but in time you’ll be doing it yourself.

What you’ll need

• There is some flexibility in degree type. Some sales experience is preferred, or other demonstrated aptitude (for example, organising and promoting your own club night or event; or playing sports to a decent level).
• You may not need a degree if you have experience in roles such as estate agency or property sales.
• Be comfortable speaking with people face to face and not be afraid to pick up the phone. Be happy to work to targets.

Where you’ll be doing it

You will be in the office in Coventry for 2 days a week; the other days you can work from home, and you’ll also be out visiting customers.
