About the Opportunity

Join our experience of product safety and stewardship practice in Health Sciences, where you will support organisations worldwide to bring to market products in a range of uses such as food that meet regulatory requirements and are safe for human health and the environment.

Key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Coordinating collaborative and timely preparation of application dossiers for the chemical and/or food industry with our subject matter experts
  • Compiling approval/authorisation dossiers according to EU and GB Chemical Regulations (e.g., REACH, Biocide)
  • Supporting project management and existing client relationships
  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the current and future regulatory landscape; attending conferences to stay up to date with laws and guidance
  • Providing support to business development activities during visits to clients, through discussion and responses to new project briefs and administration

Your skills and experience

For this role, we believe your starting point is:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a science-based field such as biology, chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology, toxicology, or food sciences
  • Experience with IT packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Numerical competence
  • Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Fluent in verbal and written English; other languages may be an asset

Selection Process:

Applications shortlisted by the beginning of March, with assessment centres at the beginning of April in our Birmingham office. An assessment centre invitation will follow for successful candidates.
