Graduate Water Quality Consultant

Location: Oxfordshire

Contract: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract (35 hours per week)

Working Hours: 07:00 to 15:00 and 13:00 to 21:00

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Job Description:

• Investigate water pollution incidents across the Thames Valley & Greater London area.
• Conduct field monitoring, including water quality measurements and sampling.
• Write technical reports in response to pollution incidents.
• Provide accurate and timely information to management.
• Share knowledge and best practices within the team.
• Perform any other duties relevant to the role.

About You:

• Degree in Biological or Environmental Sciences.
• Understanding of water chemistry and parameters.
• Full clean UK driving license.
• Experience in scientific fieldwork and outdoor work in all weather conditions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team following protocols.
• Motivated, friendly, and confident in client interactions.
• Understanding of regulators like the Environment Agency (desirable).
• Experience in laboratory analysis and environmental compliance (desirable).
