About the opportunity: in Major Programmes, Jacobs delivers complex infrastructure and transformation programmes, working with clients across sectors to unlock better social, environmental and economic outcomes. Our Project Controls team in London/Manchester/Birmingham/Glasgow handles financial monitoring and reporting, invoicing, forecasting, internal controls and financial analysis. As a Graduate Cost Analyst you will support a project team with financial monitoring and analysis to assist project managers and their teams.

The role is based in Birmingham with a start date in September 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Support a project team with financial monitoring and analysis to assist project managers and their teams.
  • Participate in invoicing, forecasting and financial reporting activities.
  • Contribute to internal controls and financial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Engage with the Project Controls team to learn governance and reporting processes across major programmes.

Qualifications

  • Be working towards a relevant Degree or Master’s level qualification in Quantity Surveying, Estimating, Commercial Management
  • A flexible self-starter who is keen to drive your career forward
  • Adaptable to change, with a thirst for learning new things
  • You must have the permanent right to work in the UK
