As a Graduate Cost Consultant / Quantity Surveyor, you will…

Contribute to the delivery of residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments from day one. You’ll gain exposure across all stages of the project lifecycle — from early-stage cost planning through to procurement and post-contract support.

Typical tasks include:

  • Cost Planning & Estimating: Assisting with preparation of budget estimates and elemental cost plans; supporting value engineering and feasibility assessments; working with project teams to understand design and cost impacts.
  • Procurement Support: Helping to prepare tender documentation; supporting tender analysis and contractor appointment processes; assisting with the preparation of contract documents.
  • Post-Contract Management: Monitoring project costs and preparing payment recommendations; supporting change control processes and cost forecasting; attending site and progress meetings with the project team; learning to manage commercial risks and support client objectives.

What do we look for?

  • A degree (or on track to complete one) in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, or a related discipline
  • A keen interest in the built environment and infrastructure development
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from experienced mentors
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiasm, ambition, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • A desire to work towards chartership
