How you'll make a difference

Our client helps businesses reduce waste and comply with environmental regulations. As a Graduate Data Consultant, you'll play a key part in this mission, supporting the delivery of accurate, timely data submissions.

Your work will help customers gain insights into the packaging and products they handle, enabling them to make confident, sustainable changes — so what you do will have a real-world impact.

What you'll be doing

You'll work alongside experienced Compliance Advisors and Data Teams to ensure data submissions are accurate and meet the requirements of various environmental regulations.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Work with account managers and data teams to make sure submissions are accurate and on time
  • Collect and verify required environmental data (weights, product info, etc.)
  • Occasionally support suppliers via phone or email
  • Learn to use the in-house EPIC software system to input, manipulate, and analyse data
  • Format data to meet requirements for different regulations
  • Help check and improve the accuracy of submissions
  • Keep up to date with environmental regulations and compliance requirements
  • Contribute ideas to improve processes and efficiency
  • Support innovations in data management and reporting
  • Assist with automation and streamlining of workflows

Technical skills & experience

  • Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel (VBA/coding knowledge a bonus)
  • Comfortable handling and analysing data
  • Degree educated (any discipline)
  • Interest in sustainability/environmental issues is a bonus
