Graduate Engineering Geologist

We’re looking for Graduate Engineering Geologists to carry out onsite day-to-day support for the contract team in delivering medium and large contracts, focusing on delivery. This includes safety, quality, cost control, performance to programme, and customer service.

You’ll support projects across the UK, combining on-site and office-based work. You will communicate progress regularly with clients and work closely with site teams to ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Responsibilities include ensuring equipment suitability, directing trial pit and borehole locations, sampling, executing grouting, conducting specific in-situ testing, logging soils and rock, preparing laboratory test schedules, and managing all contract reports.

You’ll need a degree in Civil Engineering or a Geology-related subject (or an equivalent qualification), with a good understanding of ground conditions, drilling, and site investigation work.

Effective communication and relationship-building skills are essential to liaise with clients and colleagues. A full UK driving license is required to visit sites across the country.

The laboratory also maintains our in-situ testing capabilities, including CBR and Plate Bearing tests.
