Graduate Environmental Consultant – Join BWB Consulting Ltd and help deliver innovative, sustainable engineering solutions.

What you’ll be doing

  • Collect, analyse and report on environmental data to support project decisions and mitigation measures.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and communicate technical findings.
  • Research industry trends, regulations and best practice to propose innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Collaborate across BWB offices on cross‑functional projects.
  • Progress toward Chartered status membership (e.g., IEMA) with business support.

What you’ll bring

  • Degree in environmental science, engineering, geography or related field.
  • Familiarity with local, regional and national environmental regulations applicable to EIA processes.
  • Understanding of sustainability principles and ability to integrate them into impact assessments.
  • Ability to identify potential environmental issues and propose effective solutions or mitigation measures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reports and stakeholder interaction.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for assessing potential environmental impacts.
  • Well‑organised and able to prioritise workload independently.
  • Willingness to conduct fieldwork, site visits and assessments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher).
  • Experience with GIS and AutoCAD packages is an advantage but not essential.
  • Willingness to travel and a full driving licence are essential.
