Responsibilities

  • Perform fire engineering analysis for projects involving new and existing buildings.
  • Work on various buildings (e.g., high-rise offices, large retail complexes, airports) and develop innovative fire engineering strategies.
  • Analyze fire growth, means of escape, structural fire resistance and smoke control using methods including computational modelling; prepare technical reports and liaise with clients.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed from day one, you will need:

  • Right to work in the UK or Ireland.
  • A Master’s degree (achieved in the last two years or expected) in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical, or Physics.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

Additional qualifications

  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Time management skills; second European language is an advantage but not essential.

Graduate Development Programme

Two-year programme with hands-on project work, mentorship, and support toward professional accreditation to gain experience across fire engineering and related disciplines.
