A new opportunity for a graduate geologist has opened in Croydon. You will have the chance to work on a wide variety of ground investigation projects, including mining. You will be taking on a variety of responsibilities as the Graduate Geo Environmental Consultant working alongside the ground engineering team. You will be exposed to Geotechnical Site Investigation and Geo-Environmental. You will also have the chance to work on your Geotechnical Design skills!

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the ground engineering team on a range of ground investigation projects, including mining.
• Be exposed to Geotechnical Site Investigation and Geo-Environmental work.
• Develop Geotechnical Design skills and contribute to site and office tasks.
• Hybrid working setup with on-site and office activities, including taking soil and groundwater samples and preparing desk studies and reports.

Location & Requirements

This role offers a hybrid working structure as you will be working on site and in the office. Site work will include taking soil and groundwater samples, and you will be carrying out desk studies and reports in the office. The role provides specialist training and support through to chartership, as well as a clear progression path into senior/project manager positions.

Essential Criteria

• Hold a geology or related degree
• Live within a commutable distance from the Croydon office
• Hold a full UK driving licence
