What You’ll Be Doing
You will play a key role in the collection, interpretation, and assessment of geotechnical data, and contribute to the design and preparation of technical reports. You will support and deliver a range of geotechnical design and assessment tasks related to foundations, floor slabs, roads and pavements, retaining walls, engineered slopes (cut and embankment), and earthworks.
Your responsibilities include site-based activities such as ground investigations, supervision of earthworks and ground improvement techniques, construction monitoring, inspections and validation. You will assist in coordinating office-based outputs (technical assessments, design documentation, drawings and reports) and site-based construction operations (including earthworks, ground improvement and construction of geotechnical structures). You will work as part of a collaborative delivery team under the guidance of a Team Leader, with opportunities to develop into a technically independent professional.
The role offers exposure to projects of varying scale and complexity—from small and medium developments to large, multidisciplinary complex schemes.
You will be a highly organised and motivated individual with a proactive approach to learning and a strong desire to grow professionally in a fast-paced, diverse engineering environment.

- Masters degree is desirable but not essential.
- Good IT skills with MS Office and ideally relevant industry software; training is provided.
- Enthusiasm to share ideas on how to improve ways of working.
