Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a national team of hydrogeologists across the UK and Europe, across niche hydrogeology specialisms including engineering hydrogeology, water resources and sustainability, environmental hydrogeology, permitting and legislation.
  • Contribute to projects for clients such as utilities providers, water companies, local authorities, Network Rail, National Highways, Environment Agency, SEPA and other major infrastructure providers.
  • Engage in a variety of tasks such as identifying how a water company can meet environmental flow targets through sustainable abstraction, designing and undertaking pumping tests, groundwater impact appraisals for wetlands/peatlands, and other groundwater-focused work.
  • Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver projects and provide exposure to a broad range of assignments while developing in preferred areas.
