About The Role
As a Graduate Java Full Stack Developer in the Penta Intelligence technology team, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing the core systems powering our products, utilising Java, PostgreSQL, ReactJS, AWS, and related technologies. You’ll combine coding and troubleshooting with second-line support activities, working in a fast-paced environment where your contributions will directly impact the stability and performance of our platform. You’ll build an understanding of complex systems, dive into code to identify issues, and navigate triage workflows pragmatically. The ideal candidate is someone who takes initiative – if you don’t know how to fix something, you’ll figure out how to find out. This is a critical role supporting the stability and performance of Penta’s platform infrastructure. You’ll collaborate closely with other developers, data scientists, product owners and end users to resolve issues and continuously improve how our platform runs in production.
In This Role You Will
- Design, code, test, and evolve business-critical application logic, with a focus on well-structured and optimised Java code.
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues across application and infrastructure layers.
- Triage issues to identify root causes, communicate with stakeholders
- Build scripts and tools to automate diagnostics and recovery processes
- Develop components involving data collection, ingestion, manipulation, and access for portals, real-time alerting, and reporting.
- Maintain clear documentation and contribute to knowledge bases
- Collaborate across the technology team, feeding improvements into the platform and supporting continuous integration and deployment.
We have a strong culture of learning and collaboration and you’ll be encouraged to explore areas that align with your interests and career goals.
