Job Title: Graduate Naval Ships Combat Systems Platform Integration Engineer

Location: Scotstoun (Glasgow)

Length of contract: Permanent

Start date: 7 September 2026

Salary: £34,000 + £2,000 Welcome Bonus

Hybrid and flexible working arrangements; on-site attendance 3-4 days per week.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Obtain confirmation beyond reasonable doubt by review, surveillance and audit that those assumptions underpinning engineering data, analysis methodologies, and interpretation of results have been validated.
• Define the qualification obligations for the assurance hold points during build, test and commissioning.
• Under technical supervision, undertake functional design and/or provide advice and qualification for the scope of responsibility and provide evidence for acceptance and fitness for purpose.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure requirements are adequately supported and incorporated where appropriate and agreed.

Qualifications

As a minimum requirement you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any STEM subject.

The Naval Ships Team

We design and build offshore patrol vessels, aircraft carriers and provide complex warships including the Type 26 Frigate to the Royal Navy, enabling capability for operations worldwide.
