Graduate Software Developer
Overview
We\'re seeking a talented graduate software developer to join our technical team and work alongside our CTO on our internal management platform. This is an exciting opportunity to work with modern technologies, including AI/ML, low-code development, and real-time systems that are transforming how engineering projects are managed.
What You\'ll Be Working On
Our CMS platform is a sophisticated system that combines
- AI-powered project management with custom-trained models
- Real-time collaboration tools for engineering teams
- Advanced document and automation
- Mobile inspection applications with computer vision
- Intelligent CV and skills assessment
Key Responsibilities
Development & Engineering (60%)
- Assist with frontend development using FlutterFlow and React.js
- Support backend development with Xano and Supabase databases
- Help maintain and enhance existing AI features
- Contribute to new feature development and system improvements
- Assist with API development and webhook integration
AI & Machine Learning Support (25%)
- Support the CTO with AI model fine-tuning and weekly updates
- Help implement new AI features (voice processing, computer vision)
- Assist with data processing for AI training and validation
- Monitor AI feature performance and accuracy
System Support & Maintenance (15%)
- Bug fixes and performance optimisation
- User support and troubleshooting
- Documentation updates and technical writing
- Testing and quality assurance
- Essential Skills & Experience
Essential Skills & Experience
Required:
- 2:1 or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related degree
- Programming fundamentals in APIs/JSON/JavaScript/TypeScript
- Web development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Database knowledge (Desired SQL or NoSQL - Supabase/Xano)
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Proven DIY projects at home and side hustles.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Right to work in the UK/Ireland
Highly Desirable:
- AI/ML coursework or final year projects
- React.js development experience
- Mobile app development knowledge
- API development experience
- Version control (Git) experience
- Cloud platform knowledge (AWS/Azure)
