Graduate Sustainability Consultant / BREEAM Assessor

Location: Cardiff - Travel to Bristol

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000

An award winning environmental & sustainability consultancy is looking to hire an eager and passionate Graduate Sustainability Consultant/ BREEAM Assessor to join their team in Bristol. In this role, you’ll work with a wide range of clients and design teams across various sectors, providing expert advice and assessments that reduce the environmental impact of buildings. You’ll be guiding projects through sustainability rating systems such as BREEAM, HQM, DREAM, and others.

Key responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on reducing the environmental impact of the built environment.
  • Provide guidance and assessment using rating systems such as:
    • BREEAM
    • HQM
    • DREAM
    • Other relevant environmental rating systems
  • Stay up to date with industry and sector initiatives through regular CPD (Continuing Professional Development).
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills:
    • Plan your own workload
    • Manage competing deadlines
  • Work on a wide variety of projects across multiple clients and industry sectors.

What we’re looking for:

  • Educated to degree level in Environmental Science, Geography, Sustainability, Building Services, Engineering or another relevant field
  • Knowledge of BREEAM is essential
  • Have good computer skills, especially with Microsoft 365.
  • Show a genuine passion for sustainability.
  • A team player, capable of working independently and within a team
