About the Role

Graduated Response Inclusion Practitioners work directly with children, young people, their families and professionals in a variety of settings; to enable them to re-engage in education.

Supported by the Education Officer and your Manager, you will be expected to manage a caseload of children and young people. You willprovide a package of support to increase children and young people's access to education. You will identify barriers, find solutions and act as advocate, so that schools can make suitable reasonable adjustments.

You will be part of the staff team primarily covering the West of the county, and part of the wider Inclusion Service Team covering the whole county. Travel across the county is therefore necessary, along with a flexible approach, as some out of hours working may be required. All work undertaken must be regularly recorded on our database.

A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
