Graphic Design Lead

Overview
This is a very varied and hands-on design role. You would be leading the design output of the brand, from social posts and stories, to emails, ads and some print (event collateral / packaging). It also requires knowledge of video editing and motion design. You will lead on the design and roll out of large seasonal campaigns as well as the day-to-day design and manage a digital designer. This role is focused not only on your design skills and creative eye, but it is also essential to have excellent time management and people management skills. You will work on developing the branding and Threads visual presence across all channels.
Day in the life of a Creative Design Lead
The Creative Design Lead will mostly work on design output for the digital marketing channels. Most days it will include designing 3-4 stories, and working on emails and ads. It also includes working on graphic direction for campaigns, franchises (video and static), new presentation templates. It also involves collaborating daily with stakeholders on adhoc projects such as brand decks and event collaterals.
If you like working on social and you\'re mainly a digital designer then this role is for you. The role is heavily social based, and that can mean it\'s a really fun role with lots of opportunity to get creative and work with content creators and social media teams on new ideas. It\'s fast paced and varied, which can be great if that excites you. You get to meet lots of great and interesting people in the business and new ideas are welcomed.
Responsibilities
- Prior experience in luxury fashion graphic and people management (you will be managing one individual)
- Prior experience in graphic design, typography, layouts, animation and development of brand identity
- Knowledge of fashion competitors, video editing/motion design, packaging design, social media trends, branding
- Editorial or agency backgrounds are also considered
