CreateFuture is fast becoming the UK’s most recognisable digital consultancy, with years of experience building digital products and services for major organisations whilst putting our people first. We have offices in the centre of Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester, and London as well as remote employees located throughout the country.
We are a team of creators – whether that’s code, project plans, go to market strategies, culture initiatives, marketing campaigns, large language models or people policies. And together, with our clients, we create the future. This has seen us collaborate and partner across a multitude of industries and sectors, with the likes of PayPal, adidas, Natwest, FanDuel and Money Saving Expert, to name just a few.
Our reputation as a partner determined to deliver high-quality, robust and thoughtful products has enabled us to scale to over 500 people in the last couple of years, and it is our amazing people – along with the safe, supportive and friendly culture we have built – that makes CreateFuture a great place to work. Don’t just take our word for it though, we have been recognised by Best Workplaces UK multiple years in a row – across a number of categories – and our employee exit rate is astonishingly low.
About the role and team:
As Graphic Designer in the Marketing team, you play a key role in shaping the visual language of our brand, ensuring it is compelling, consistent, and effectively deployed across all channels. You bring a refined aesthetic taste, big conceptual thinking, and a proactive, hands‑on approach to guide creative projects from initial brief to successful delivery. Equally important, you’ll act as a bridge to the wider design and commercial impact community, ensuring our marketing output reflects the high standards of CreateFuture.
You build trusted, collaborative relationships within the team, balancing autonomous self‑management with a drive to scale our collective capabilities. You are skilled at blending traditional design expertise with AI‑literacy and the ability to work with it to scale the work that you produce. By integrating generative AI tools and establishing a foundational suite of templates, you will enhance efficiency and speed, helping the Marketing team thrive. Your contribution fosters a culture of organised creativity, where forward‑thinking design unlocks greater value for our brand and our audience.
What you’ll be doing:
- Craft high‑quality, on‑brand assets that resonate across digital channels, paid media, and internal communications, ensuring our visual language is compelling and consistent.
- Lead the development of a robust template foundation—from Figma components to presentation decks—empowering the wider team to scale their work efficiently.
- Utilise motion and animation to add depth and engagement to our digital platforms, bringing static visuals to life for events and advertising.
- Act as a custodian of the CreateFuture visual identity, ensuring that every output, whether digital content or physical exhibition graphics, adheres to our standards and elevates our brand presence.
- Manage the production of physical assets, designing print materials and merchandise while overseeing vendor relationships to ensure quality delivery.
- Take full ownership of design briefs, proactively managing timelines and communicating clarity to stakeholders to keep projects moving with momentum.
- Drive innovation by researching and integrating generative AI tools, expediting processes and unlocking new creative possibilities while reducing manual effort.
We’d love to talk to you if you:
- Have professional experience in graphic design at a mid‑weight level, with proven experience in a B2B or tech company environment preferred.
- Own a portfolio that showcases expert visuals, craft, motion, and range across multiple formats, demonstrating systematic thinking. You have an understanding and experience working with branding and brand systems.
- Deep proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Figma for UI/UX design, component library management, and collaboration. Familiarity with After Effects (or a similar tool) is advantageous but not essential.
- Have practical experience or a keen understanding of how to use generative AI for visual ideation, asset creation, and workflow optimisation. Will have experimented or used AI tooling such as Adobe Firefly.
- Proven ability to self‑manage multiple design projects simultaneously, delivering high‑quality work on schedule and within budget.
What we’ll offer you:
At CreateFuture, we challenge ourselves to go beyond the obvious and we care deeply about our craft and customers. With us, you’ll have ambitious projects to sink your teeth into and plenty of opportunities to learn and grow. You’ll be part of our safe, supportive and friendly culture – that looks after you – and join our team of genuinely great people.
Our benefits include:
- Total 35 days holiday (we have flexible bank holidays)
- Enhanced parental and adoption leave
- 1‑1 professional financial coaching
- Pension – matched up to 5%
Next steps:
Our TA team aims to respond to all applications within a reasonable timeframe, regardless of whether we are progressing with your application.
Our process:
- 30‑minute call with our Talent Acquisition Team
- 30‑minute competency‑based interview
We believe that representative teams made up of people with different backgrounds, skills, and points of view help us build the best workplace possible, and enable us to create genuinely innovative, broadly useful products.
We are committed to our goal of creating the most inclusive workplace possible. As we strive to build an environment where everyone can thrive and be themselves, we will continue to investigate and challenge biases, while working to identify and remove obstacles to inclusion. If you need additional support or accommodation during the application process, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
Candidates for this role must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Please confirm you meet this criteria.
