Divisional Manager Onshore Renewables - United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy & Greece

Leading IPP working in BESS & Data centres, expanding across other onshore renewable technologies.

Up to £80,000 + Benefits DOE. Offices in North England and Central Belt, flexibility for a remote role.

Over the last decade, this IPP has aimed to deploy renewable energy assets across the UK and beyond, with significant project activity moving through planning approval and a growing team focused on sustainability and market expansion.

They are seeking a new Grid Portfolio Manager to support their grid department. This role reports to the Grid Director and will manage an expansive grid portfolio with a long-term focus on opportunities and strategy in grid connections.

Responsibilities

  • Look after connection agreements and ensure projects are compliant with grid milestones.
  • Develop and execute strategy for grid connections; identify and pursue new opportunities in this space.
  • Collaborate with the Grid Director and internal teams; liaise with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Troubleshoot the existing portfolio and act as a liaison for new agreements; work with DNOS, TSOs, and NESO where applicable.
  • Provide long-term planning and vision for grid-related activities within onshore renewables.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in grid connections for onshore renewables; self-motivated, self-starter with ability to work independently.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
  • Ability to develop strategies and plans for future opportunities in grid space.
