The Role

We’re on the lookout for a brilliant Group Bar Manager to help us take our bars to the next level, creating warm, welcoming, and exceptional hospitality experiences that feel just as special as the food and drinks we serve.

This role is all about people, consistency, great service, and setting the bar high. You’ll be out there on the floor, leading by example, making sure every drink is crafted with care, every spec is followed, and every customer feels looked after.

The role will involve flexibility with hours and a clear expectation of working evenings and weekends to improve bar standards with the teams and a focus on improving the speed of service on the bars whilst still making the drinks creatively and with operational efficiency.

While we partner with a fantastic external consultant for drinks development and creative innovation, you’ll be the one bringing it all to life: coaching teams, embedding standards, and setting the rhythm of service in every one of our bars.

What You’ll Do

Lead our bars across all Caravan sites, taking full ownership of the standards, service, and performance of every bar operation.
Build a consistent and elevated customer experience by embedding clear drinks specs, service standards, and ways of working.
Act as the ambassador of bar excellence — leading by example and spending time on the floor to coach, guide, and support bar teams and managers.
Deliver engaging training, onboarding, and upskilling to ensure every team member feels confident, capable, and connected to our values.
Work with GMs and site leaders to develop bar supervisors and rising talent, ensuring a strong pipeline of confident bar leaders.
Champion health and safety, cleanliness, stock control, and operational best practices across all bars.
Partner with our drinks consultant to roll out new menus and products — owning the comms, specs, and operational readiness across sites.
Monitor drink GP and stock performance, troubleshoot POS and ordering systems, and help deliver a smooth, efficient bar operation every day.
Support private hires and events as needed, ensuring our bars always reflect the Caravan hospitality experience.

About You

A hands-on leader with a track record of success in multi-site bar or beverage operations—ideally from high-profile, service-led multi-site groups.
Obsessed with hospitality, you see every service as an opportunity to create connection and elevate the customer’s experience.
Clear, calm, and structured, with a strong eye for operational excellence and process improvement.
Confident in setting standards, holding the line, and developing people through clarity, kindness, and coaching.
Not afraid to get stuck in—you’re happiest when you’re visible, present, and part of the action.
Passionate about product integrity and service consistency—you know how to bring flair without sacrificing precision.
