Group Commercial Finance Analyst

Location: Remote (1-2 days/week in Manchester)

Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum

Hours: 37.5 per week, Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm

The Role

As OFG expands in the UK and internationally, the Group Commercial Finance Analyst will provide financial modelling, insight, and strategic analysis to support growth. You\'ll partner with Group and in-country teams to evaluate market opportunities, build business cases, and create scalable financial frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Assess new market opportunities through financial modelling and scenario planning.
  • Support business development with pricing, investment, and commercial analysis.
  • Build and maintain financial models for UK & international ventures, acquisitions, and projects.
  • Provide insight during market entry, scale-up, and expansion phases.
  • Collaborate on budgets and forecasts aligned with Group targets.
  • Analyse performance, highlight variances, and provide actionable insights.
  • Identify efficiency opportunities and strengthen financial controls.
  • Deliver reporting and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Stay informed on market and economic trends to support strategic planning.

Experience & Skills

Essential:

  • Experience in commercial finance, business partnering, or business analysis in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
  • Proven ability to support growth/expansion with financial insight.
  • Strong Excel and modelling skills.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and commercially astute.
  • Strong communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Adaptable and proactive in a scaling environment.

Desirable:

  • ERP systems, Power BI or similar.
  • Professional finance qualification (CIMA/ACCA).
