Overview

Group Finance Manager to join a leading broadcasting studios on a contract basis. This role will lead the delivery of high-quality consolidated management reporting and oversee the integrity and performance of core financial systems. It supports business decision-making, data accuracy, and continuous improvement across reporting and system processes. Start date in September, contract until June 2026. Hybrid working from London office (2-3 days a week).

Offering £400-500 a day inside IR35.

Responsibilities

  • Lead review and delivery of consolidated monthly and quarterly management reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of actuals and forecasts across financial systems (SAP S/4, BPC).
  • Own financial data validation, system uploads, and core reporting processes.
  • Act as primary contact for consolidation queries and system issue resolution, including liaison with BPO providers.
  • Drive improvements in reporting efficiency, data quality, and use of automation tools (e.g. dashboards).
  • Deliver ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee system change requests, testing, and upgrades in partnership with Finance and Technology teams.
  • Provide training and support for finance systems, promoting best practices across users.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and support audit readiness and compliance activities.
  • Lead and develop a small team, providing coaching, direction, and performance oversight.
  • Build relationships across finance and non-finance teams to ensure alignment on reporting and system needs.
  • Deputise for the Head of Finance as required.

Requirements

  • Recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Strong experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and planning
  • Proficient in ERP/reporting systems (preferably SAP S/4 and BPC)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Experience managing data accuracy, validation, and process compliance
  • Experience working in a complex, matrixed organisation at a group level and consolidation accounts
