Grafton Banks Finance Ltd is looking for an ambitious and qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Group Financial Controller to join a fast‑growing manufacturing business in Chichester, West Sussex.

Taking on the role of Group Financial Controller you will take overall responsibility for financial accounts, treasury, operational finance, projects and payroll.

Chichester, West Sussex (3 days on site minimum).

Grafton Banks Finance Ltd provided pay range. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Contributing to the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting to the Board
  • Key role in ensuring compliance with legislative and statutory requirements
  • Act as point of contact for the external audit team
  • Responsible for weekly cash flow reporting
  • VAT, capital investment process, fixed assets register
  • Standard costing
  • Balance sheet and P&L statements
  • Overseeing a team of 3 finance staff
  • Interesting project work and involvement in new business
  • Prepare statutory accounts for the year end
  • Assist with the preparation of the Group Annual Report

Qualifications

  • Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant
  • Manufacturing sector experience (essential) with standard costings
  • Experience of preparing year end statutory accounts
  • Good understanding of business partnering, cash forecasting
  • Mature and dedicated approach, drive, ambition and desire to succeed
