As the Group Financial Controller for the UK firm, a strategic leadership role with impact across the UK, Middle East, and Channel Islands. Partnering closely with the Head of Finance, you’ll shape financial strategy, drive operations, and lead a high-performing Financial Control team. We’re seeking a forward-thinking finance professional with experience in international, multi-entity environments. You’ll ensure strong governance, compliance with global standards, and deliver innovative solutions that enhance systems and processes. This is a trusted role with senior leadership visibility. What Your Days Will Look Like

  • Lead UK group statutory accounting and reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS and relevant legislation, and oversee audits and external submissions.
  • Provide strategic insight as part of the UK Finance Executive Team, reporting on financial risk, controls, and policy development to senior governance bodies.
  • Drive finance transformation through SAP process improvements and lead key workstreams in the SAP S4/HANA implementation.
  • Build and lead a high-performing, multi-location finance team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence.

This Role Is For You If

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA accountant (or equivalent) with a strong foundation from a leading audit firm.
  • Extensive experience in group consolidations and financial reporting within complex, multi-entity environments.
  • Deep knowledge of IFRS, audit practices, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven leadership in building high-performing teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Skilled in driving improvements across processes, systems, and team performance in fast-paced, growing organisations.
  • Commercially minded, adaptable, and an effective communicator with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tailor messaging across diverse audiences.
