Responsibilities
Lead and manage all internal payroll activity across multiple offices for approx. 500 staff Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely processing of payrolls across the group Oversee pensions, auto-enrolment, and benefits administration Drive consistency, efficiency, and process improvement across systems Partner closely with HR and Finance on payroll strategy and alignment Provide reporting, analysis, and insights to senior management Act as the payroll subject matter expert across the group
What we are looking for
Deep understanding of UK payroll legislation and compliance Strong experience managing multiple or complex payrolls Confident communicator with senior stakeholders Organised, analytical, and detail-focused Ideally CIPP qualified or working towards it Comfortable with systems integration and payroll process improvement Professional services or multi-site background would be an advantage
