Job Description
- Manage and ensure compliance with corporate tax regulations and filings locally in UK and internationally.
- Develop and implement tax-efficient strategies to support business objectives.
- Oversee VAT compliance and reporting processes.
- Provide advice on tax implications for business transactions and projects.
- Collaborate with external advisors and auditors on tax-related matters.
- Identify opportunities for tax savings and process improvements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations impacting the industrial and manufacturing sectors.
- Prepare and present tax reports to senior management.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Tax Manager should have:
- Professional tax qualifications (e.g., CTA, ATT, or equivalent) preferred not essential
- Professional Qualification - ACCA, ACA
- Experience in UK and international corporate tax compliance and planning.
- Knowledge of VAT regulations and reporting requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant tax software and tools - Onesource
