This is a specialist global events agency. They deliver high-impact Annual General Meetings, Investor Days and Markets-focused events across London, Paris, New York, and more. Their reach may be global and the client list impressive, but they’re a small (but growing), boutique-style environment. This is a unique role that blends the commercial elements of growing the business through new client acquisition and growing existing partnerships through outstanding follow up and continuous improvement. There are strong connections to the Paris market, making native level French a must alongside fluent English.

What you’ll do
You’ll combine new business growth with excellent client service in the pre and post event stages. The team will be delivering premium events (AGMs, Capital Markets Days, Investor Days etc.) for international clients and you\'ll be central to the pitch, budgeting and planning phase as well as the post-event feedback and long-term relationship management. Reporting directly to the CEO for business development activities and working with the Global Head of Events for project delivery, this role combines client acquisition through converting leads to tailored pitches, understanding client needs and budgets and networking with the bigger picture of commercial strategy and the kick off, execution and follow up of engaging, premium events.

What you’ll bring
- Solid client facing experience within the events industry (agency experience a must)
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to engage with clients and the confidence to pitch, negotiate, and grow accounts
- Excellent written and verbal communication in both native level French and fluent English
- Proficiency with budget management
- Familiarity with CRM and event tools (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Cvent, SpotMe, Appcraft)
- Well organised, proactive and capable of managing multiple tasks and demands simultaneously
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and supportive; things can change fast!
- Willingness to travel for meetings and events
