Growth Programmes Lead, Growth and Sales, Ramboll UK&I. Location: Any Ramboll UK & Ireland office. The role is responsible for facilitating and supporting best practice Client Account Management, Sector Management and Framework Management to drive top line growth. You will work closely with business development and operational leadership across the business to review existing practices, define and implement improvements and report on progress to UK&I Exec and Group across the three programmes. The role requires a commercial mindset, a strong understanding of our sector and industry and strong communication skills. You will report to the Head of Growth and Sales.

You will engage across the Market Pursuits Team, drawing together bidding operations and embedding the Department Plan into daily activity. You will monitor and maintain progress of plan, highlighting gaps in required capabilities and supporting team members who may have stretch goals to own or enable delivery of specific Department Plan tasks.

Your new role & responsibilities

  • Further develop and manage the UK&I Key Client Programme. This may include, for example: overseeing training requirements for KAMs/KCMs and their teams; ensuring client intelligence is disseminated to MPT leads; ensuring KCMs are aware of industry and organisational changes; working with central communications to define key account communications plans and events; facilitating annual client reviews and managing onboarding/downgrading/removal of accounts from the programme as necessary.
  • Further develop and manage the Frameworks Improvement programme. This may include: overseeing training requirements for Framework Managers and their teams; ensuring client intelligence through Frameworks is shared with MPT leads; ensuring Framework Managers are aware of industry and organisational changes; working with central communications to define communications plans and events; updating processes to aid management of frameworks; analysing framework performance and identifying areas for improvement with Framework Managers.
  • Further develop and manage the Sectors Programme. This may include: facilitating Sector meetings and collaboration across Directors of Business Areas; tracking progress against sector strategies; identifying ways to better support Sector Teams with central resources.
  • In exceptional circumstances, lead major opportunities (Must Wins) for Key Accounts. This includes leading preparation of Capture Plans, attending Go/No-Go meetings, guiding the bid team to ensure positioning is integrated into bid planning and reviewing bids for alignment with client needs.

About you

  • 10+ years’ experience in the UK&I Construction & Infrastructure Sectors.
  • Deep understanding of the Engineering Consulting Market within the UK&I Construction & Infrastructure Sectors, including public sector policy, funding routes and procurement influences across sub-sectors.
  • Understanding of, and ideally experience with, management processes for Key Client Accounts within the UK&I Construction & Infrastructure Sectors.
  • Experience leading tenders for an engineering consultancy with tenders in excess of £1m revenue.
